What Is 8.6 Blackout?
The 8.6 Blackout (.338 caliber) was engineered to run from a modified AR-10 or GF-10 platform, delivering .338 Federal performance in a suppressor-optimized package. The cartridge pushes 285–300gr projectiles to subsonic velocities with ease, making it one of the quietest and most devastating hunting cartridges available on a semi-auto platform. Supersonic loads push lighter projectiles past 2,400 fps for flat-trajectory medium to large game hunting.
